1. Introduction

Wantan ("Wantan", "we", "our", or "us") is a platform that helps local service businesses create simple, conversion-focused websites. By using Wantan, creating an account, or accessing any site built with Wantan, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you are using Wantan on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Use of the service

Wantan provides tools to create, edit, and publish websites for local service businesses. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms and any applicable laws.

You agree that you will not:

• Use Wantan for illegal, misleading, or harmful activities.
• Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful code through sites built with Wantan.
• Host content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Harvest personal data from visitors without their knowledge or required consent.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you are not authorized to use.
• Reverse engineer or copy the service in a way that competes with Wantan.

3. User accounts

To create and manage websites on Wantan, you must create an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us promptly at support@wantan.co if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Website content ownership

You own the content you add to the websites you build with Wantan, including text, images, logos, and other assets (collectively, "User Content"). You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to use, display, and share that content.

You grant Wantan a limited license to host, display, and process your User Content as needed to operate the service and provide your website to visitors.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content, including any claims you make about your services, qualifications, pricing, or results.

5. No guarantee of results

Wantan is designed to help local businesses present themselves clearly and professionally online. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes, including:

• Traffic to your website.
• Leads, sales, or revenue.
• Search engine rankings or visibility.

Your business results depend on many factors outside of Wantan’s control, including your services, pricing, competition, and marketing efforts.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Wantan is offered as a paid service. Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement:

• Certain setup fees may be charged once for initial site creation.
• Ongoing access to the platform is billed as a monthly subscription.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe).

By starting a subscription, you authorize Wantan (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

7. Cancellation policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting support@wantan.co. When you cancel:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• After the billing period ends, your website may be taken offline or moved to a limited access state.
• Upon request, we may provide an export of your site as static HTML so you can host it elsewhere.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Wantan if you violate these terms, misuse the platform, fail to pay for the service, or otherwise pose a risk to the platform or other users.

8. Service availability

We work to keep Wantan reliable and available, but the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or issues with our hosting and third-party providers. We aim to keep any interruptions as short as reasonably possible.

9. Changes to the service

We may update, improve, or change parts of Wantan over time, including features, templates, or integrations. We aim to make changes that improve reliability, performance, and outcomes for local businesses.

We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you through the app or by email.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wantan and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Loss or corruption of data.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid for Wantan in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Wantan will be handled in courts located in Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
